Catching them young-Involving children in the TRT through our events and open days increases their awareness of the wonderful complexity of the Teifi and its tributaries, instilling a respect for nature that will pay future dividends.

Learning-we intend to offer the opportunity to learn about the river and its environs to all ages through our projects and seminars.

Not just one river- with your help the TRT aims to safeguard and improve the multitude of lakes rivers and streams that join together to form the Afon Teifi and its neighboring rivers.

The beauty's in the detail The Teifi Rivers Trust aims to protect the environment from the invisible pollutants that kill the all important aquatic life of the streams at a microscopic level.

Building bridges -- not walls. We aim to encourage varied groups from the communities along the Teifi valley to participate in habitat works to encourage an involvement in and a heightened awareness of the river.

The Afon Teifi - a beautiful river surrounded by picturesque scenery from its source in the Cambrian mountains to the sea seventy five miles away at Aberteifi, Cardigan. TheTeifi and some of its tributaries are classified as a Special Area of Conservation due to the unique natural life that abounds in its waters.
